Supply chain software consolidates around control towers

The supply chain software landscape, fragmented across visibility trackers, planning engines, and logistics platforms, is consolidating into integrated control towers. Shippers exhausted by integrating a dozen point solutions are anchoring on platforms and pressuring the remaining specialists to plug in or sell.

The consolidation logic is data gravity. Planning improves with visibility data, execution improves with planning data, and the vendor that holds all three compounds advantages the specialists cannot match alone. Acquirers have spent accordingly, and the roll-up phase is visibly underway.

Customers describe the trade honestly: fewer vendors and cleaner data against concentration risk and negotiating leverage surrendered. After the disruption years, most are choosing consolidation, on the theory that resilience begins with being able to see the whole chain in one place.
